“Culturally responsive therapy for women navigating identity, relationships, and the second-generation experience.”
About
I work with women, teens, and families — often across the kinds of generational and cultural conversations that don't fit neatly into a single language. My clients are frequently the first in their families to be in therapy, and we spend real time on what that means and doesn't mean.
The presenting concerns vary: anxiety, depression, perinatal mood shifts, relationship dynamics, identity questions, and the long shadow of childhood patterns. The approach combines person-centered listening with concrete CBT and DBT skills, plus narrative work for clients who need a way to tell their story in a register that fits.
I'm bilingual in English and French, and I've worked extensively with BIPOC clients and immigrant and expat families. I see clients in Hoboken in person and via telehealth across New Jersey and New York.
