“Therapy for teens and young adults — identity, anxiety, and the kinds of feelings that don't always have words yet.”
About
Adolescence and early adulthood ask people to figure out who they are while everything is still moving. My practice is built around those years — the academic pressure, the social pressure, the body stuff, the identity questions, the families trying to keep up.
I work with teens (13+) and young adults on anxiety, depression, OCD, disordered eating, gender and sexuality identity, and the kinds of trauma that don't always look like 'trauma' from the outside. I'm an art therapist and weave creative work in when it helps — and skip it when it doesn't. I also draw on DBT skills, ACT, and TF-CBT.
I'm queer-affirming and have spent years working in LGBTQIA+ youth contexts. Sessions are 50 minutes. I see clients in Brooklyn and via telehealth in New York.
