About
Most couples I see have tried to fix this on their own for longer than they want to admit. The fights are familiar. The distance is familiar. What they need is structure for the conversations they keep starting and never finishing.
I work primarily with couples and families using Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method, with discernment counseling for couples on the edge of separating. My experience covers the harder edges of partnership: infidelity repair, sexless or low-desire patterns, parenting disagreements, in-law dynamics, and the slow erosion of friendship inside marriage.
I'll keep both people in view. I won't take sides; I will name patterns clearly. Sessions are 60 minutes for couples. I see clients in Morristown and via telehealth in New Jersey and New York.
